1. Preparatory Work
Prepare a test screen with fine lines, small dots, and crosshair alignment marks. The pattern should include 0.1mm fine lines and 1mm spaced small dots for easy visual assessment of alignment deviation. Prepare a flat printing substrate (e.g., blank cut paper) and printing paste.
2. Static Single-Point Alignment Test (Basic Accuracy)
Manually complete the alignment process and print the first sample, marking it as "First Article".
Repeat starting and stopping the machine 10 times, returning to the same station after each start and stop, and printing another sample.
Compare the crosshair deviation between the 10 samples and the first article using a magnifying glass. If the deviation does not exceed 0.02mm, the static positioning accuracy is acceptable; excessive deviation indicates substandard accuracy.
3. Continuous Dynamic Printing Test (Actual Production Accuracy, Most Critical): Set the equipment to its usual production speed and print 100 samples continuously without stopping for adjustments.
Compare the last 10 samples with the first piece: measure the pattern alignment deviation using a ruler or caliper.
Judgment Criterion: If the deviation exceeds 0.05mm for more than two samples, it indicates insufficient accuracy stability after long-term operation and cannot meet the needs of mass production.
4. Multi-color Overprinting Test (Multi-station Accuracy Verification):
If the equipment is a multi-color model, the cumulative accuracy of each station needs to be verified:
Install the same test screen at each station and repeatedly overprint the same pattern at each station.
After continuously printing through all stations, observe whether the final overprinted pattern is blurry and whether the crosshairs are misaligned: the clearer the overprint, the better the cumulative accuracy of each station.
5. Precise Measurement with Professional Instruments (Optional, Professional Testing) If a precise accuracy report is required, professional equipment can be used for testing:
Use a colorimeter and spectrophotometer to measure the color density uniformity of the printed pattern to determine color accuracy; Use a gloss meter to test the surface gloss consistency of the printed material to assist in verifying printing accuracy.
