1. Pattern design and preparation
Designers use professional graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc., to design patterns to be printed on garments according to customer needs or their own creativity.
Adjust and optimize the designed patterns to ensure that the color, resolution, size, etc. meet the printing requirements.
Save the patterns in file formats suitable for garment printing machines, such as JPEG, TIFF, PDF, etc.
2. Fabric preparation
Choose suitable garment fabrics according to the needs of printing, common ones are cotton, linen, silk, chemical fiber, etc.
Pre-treat the fabrics, such as washing, ironing, removing impurities, etc., to ensure that the surface of the fabrics is flat and clean, which is conducive to the printing effect.
Fix the fabrics on the workbench of the printing machine to ensure that the fabrics will not move or deform during the printing process.
3. Printing machine settings
Set the parameters of the garment printing machine, such as printing speed, nozzle height, ink concentration, temperature, etc., according to the type of fabric, pattern requirements and the characteristics of printing technology.
Choose a suitable printing mode, such as digital inkjet printing, thermal transfer printing, screen printing, etc.
Check whether the consumables such as ink cartridges, nozzles, and transfer paper of the printing machine are sufficient and working properly.
4. Printing process
For digital inkjet printing machines, the nozzles print ink on the fabric according to the preset pattern, and achieve high-resolution printing effects through precise control.
The thermal transfer printing machine first prints the pattern on the transfer paper, then fits the transfer paper to the fabric, and transfers the pattern to the fabric by heating.
The screen printing machine needs to make a screen plate first, and then scrape the ink onto the fabric through the screen plate. Only one color can be printed at a time, and multiple overprints are required to complete complex patterns.
5. Post-processing
After printing is completed, the clothing is inspected to ensure the quality and integrity of the pattern.
If necessary, post-processing such as drying, color fixing, ironing, etc. can be performed to improve the firmness of the pattern and the vividness of the color. The clothing is sorted and packaged, ready for delivery to customers or the next step of processing.
The workflow of the clothing printing machine includes pattern design and processing, material preparation, equipment debugging, printing operation, and post-processing. Each link requires fine operation and strict control to ensure the high quality of the final printing effect.
