1. Lubrication points are mainly concentrated in the motion system, including friction parts such as the X/Y/Z axis guide rails, sliders, belt pulleys, gears, and bearings. The X-axis requires lubrication of the front and rear guide rails and side belt pulleys; the Y-axis requires lubrication of the left and right guide rails; and the Z-axis requires lubrication of the vertical threaded guide rails.
2. Lubricant selection is crucial. Always use the original environmentally friendly lubricating oil or grease specified by the equipment manufacturer. Mixing different brands is strictly prohibited. For high-speed rotating parts, synthetic ester grease can be used; for heavy-duty parts, polyurea-based grease is suitable.
3. Operating procedures: First, ensure the lubrication points are clean and dry. Use a dropper or grease gun to apply an appropriate amount of lubricant evenly to the contact surfaces of the guide rails and sliders, threads, and other key locations, avoiding excessive application. After lubrication, let the machine idle for a short while to allow the lubricant to distribute evenly.
4. Maintenance cycle needs to be dynamically adjusted according to the intensity of use. Under normal operating conditions, it is recommended to lubricate the ball guides every 20 hours and the roller guides every 15 hours. If the equipment is shut down for an extended period, lubrication must be replenished before restarting.
