1. The most obvious sign is a clogged printhead. Broken lines, faded colors, or speckled patterns during printing are likely due to a clogged printhead. Try the printer's built-in cleaning function first. If the problem persists after cleaning, manual cleaning or checking the printhead for aging or damage may be necessary.

2. Unusual noises from the moving parts are another signal. If the gears or belts make abnormal noises while the machine is running, it may indicate insufficient lubrication or worn parts. Add grease or check/replace parts as needed.

3. Pay attention to ink cartridge clumping. If ink settles or clumps in the cartridge, it will reduce print quality. Gently shake the ink bottle before use to ensure the ink is evenly distributed. Filter impurities with a screen if necessary.

4. In addition, decreased print quality (such as stripes or blank spaces) or low ink level warnings are also clear signs that maintenance is needed. Regularly checking these areas can effectively prevent major problems.
